2 Simple Ways To Becoming Better At Golf
If you want to become a better golfer I believe there are 2 main things you need to do starting right this very moment. The first thing you need to do is make a committment. Committ to working out at least 4 to 5 times a week on your golf game. Committ to waking up in the morning and doing workouts that will help you build strength and flexibility. If you don’t make a committment you will never get better.
A good idea is to write a contract with yourself. Write out how many hours you will dedicate to working out every week. It should read something like “I (your name) make a committment to spend (amount of hours) per week improving my golf game. You also want to put your goals on your contract. What are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to break 80? If so write that on your contract. Be honest and be realistic.
Now by realistic I mean you have to set a goal that you are willing to put in the time and effort to accomplish. If you want to break 80 in the next month but you are only willing to workout one hour a week then chances are you won’t break 80. Take into consideration your life and responsibilities as they will certainly be a factor in the amount of time you can committ to this.
The next thing you should do is consider getting a coach. A coach can help you reach your goals a lot quicker as they know exactly what to do to get you there. If you can’t afford a coach invest in a book that can help you reach your goals. You need some sort of guidence to help you accomplish your goals.
